lynx sighting in Fenelon Falls

These photos are from Sept 4/06 on a day I met a man who saw a lynx right in town. See the story below in the previous post: "winter blast".

the river looks amazing, it would've been exciting to see the lynx.
hope your feet are still warm.

A cruise through the locks and down to Sturgeon Lake is available during the summer season. I think I should take the opportunity soon to see it all from a different perspective, don't you?

Fantastic about the lynx! I thought maybe I'd found lynx sign in the winter, a few years ago: a urine-soaked scrape and some hard to interpret tracks in deep snow. Now that I know a lynx was seen in Fenelon Falls I doubt my reading less--thanks!
