hoarfrost






Soft grey winter mist greeted the sun this morning. As the sun rose, a fine dusting of ice crystals winked and twinkled on every surface, frosting snow banks, coating the branches. It was as if new varieties of exotic flowers had emerged overnight, wintry blooms of white.
