don't you love the twisting grain of these fence-rails? They are hollow, and when a red squirrel or chipmunk travels along this "highway", they have the choice of "lanes" to take. A chipmunk observing my interruption of traffic along the fence, scolded me in alarm, from hiding places within the cedar rails! Posted by Picasa

I love it: chipmunk highways! Very fun.

Your local ecosystem looks alot like mine; same trees, same exotics, etc. Fun to see something "across international boundaries" that looks so familiar!
