However you got the photos up -I'm enjoying them! We used to see strings of tinsel from discarded Christmas trees used in birds' nests the following spring. The blue tarp nests remind me of tent campers - out in 'nature' but the brightly colored nylon tents never quite blend in.

Fall is the major planting and transplanting season here, but I'll wait for the cool front to come tomorrow. Yesterday's temperatures reached a record 88ºF [maybe 31C?] with today's going to 91º[would that be 32C?], and although I can and have dug beds in that heat, it seems wiser to wait a day and enjoy working in 20ºC, instead. I'll look at your snow photos to cool off!

Annie, what a contrast your heat to my "warm spell". It is unusually warm right now, about 10 - 12 Celsius. The snow is gone again. I should finish up the work in the garden, the cleaning up I didn't manage to complete yet...It's the ideal window of opportunity before the inevitable cold weather!
The image of the brightly coloured tents in "nature" is interesting, isn't it?
