the race

The race is on, and already I'm falling behind. These pictures taken last week are already old news; trilliums are opening up now and I have not had a chance to stop and photograph them yet....I sometimes wonder if the season of spring is compressed as one gets futher north, everything occurring in the space of 2-3 weeks! A warm day, another day of rain and poof! Suddenly the grass is green and the tulips are about to bloom!

Hi,
I stumbled into your beautiful garden.
It is beautiful and amazing.
I lived in the tropics and in constantly envious of all the plants you could grow. :) I love flowers.

Cheers
Faith

lovely spring, thank you for sharing it! Ours is long gone; yesterday and today we sweltered in unseasonable heat - 90-93 degrees, quite outrageous in No. Calfornias coastal region! Sitting here, sticky, feeling only the faintest evening breeze when I chanced upon your spring flowers - a wonderful remedy for the heat!
