recycling

I ranted about this ugly blue tarp this past spring. It had been stretched over the roof of this crumbling shed. The tarp had been fried and frozen enough over time to be falling apart, the long fibres blowing all over the yard in a gale. I tried to gather up as much as I could and ripped the rest off the shed fairly easily. This is what remains. Below, you'll see the birds didn't mind the ugly blue fibres half as much as I did. But it looks so festive!

Actually, I hate those tarps. They look like they should be tough, but in my experience they seem about as durable as tissue paper.

It almost does look like Christmas decorations doesn't it, Hannele?

Dreadful stuff,e4. This tarp was placed over the sagging roof of the crumbling shed to prolong the life of the shed, I suppose. Instead, I've found the disintegratiing fibres many yards away, draped over bushes, in the branches of trees.
