Every once in a while you read something about people that is so idiotic that you have the greatest laugh!

Last night, after my run, my friend and I stopped at a Chinese take-out to grab a bite to eat. While waiting for our order, I happened upon this article in the Toronto Star:

Less than perfect crime leads to two arrests

Two Halifax men have pleaded not guilty to several charges stemming from a
bungled home invasion on the weekend....They were arrested early Saturday after
two men kicked in the front door of an apartment and demanded cash from the
resident.

The man told the intruders he didn't have money but offered to go to a bank
machine. They agreed and waited in the apartment while he left and called
police.
