lilies of the field

Ah! The peonies have shattered and the spent blooms have been deadheaded. Now, the glory of the Oshawa Valley Botanical Gardens is in the lilies.

It is at the edge of a petal that love waits. - William Carlos Williams

Wonderful lily pictures of the Oshawa Valley Botanical Gardens. I'll make sure to visit the garden very soon.

What a desolate place would be a world without flowers.
It would be a face
without a smile; a feast without a welcome.
Are not flowers the stars
of the earth?
Are not our stars the flowers of heaven?
