"I thank You God for most this amazing day: for the leaping greenly spirits of trees and a blue true dream of sky; and for everything which is natural which is infinite which is yes"
--e.e. cummings
I am a writer, artist, gardener and wounded healer with a special interest in the natural world, the re-enchantment of design, and healthy, fabulous food. My home is my garden and workshop, and I use my travels as inspiration. I enjoy stepping off the beaten path to discover the unexpected and to re-connect with the awesome power of Nature to rejuvenate my soul.

Beautiful--I love all of that contrasting foliage, and the container looks particularly lovely with the burgundy grass. (Is it pennisetum?)
Do you happen to know the name of that variegated sedum, by the way? I got some of it at a master gardener exchange earlier this year but it was just labelled "sedum" and I haven't been able to ID it.
It is a penisetum, Zone 9, I think, so I don't expect to overwinter it. As for the sedum, I bought that from a "mastergardener's" spring plant sale, but I can get the name --it will just take me a day or two.
